Do you want to be part of a winning team? Are you in the 4th or 5th grade? Join the chess club. You could earn a medal and keep the winning tradition alive at King. Be sure to check the calendar for upcoming club dates. 

Choir is for 4th and 5th graders, and a few select 3rd graders.  We sing a variety of quality music and perform 4-6 times per year.  Sign ups for choir are at the beginning of each semester.

Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in fifth grade. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers. Be sure to check the calendar to see the next available session.

STEM on Wheels club is set-up to introduce fun hands-on STEM activities to students. The goal of each meeting is to engage students in open-ended STEM problem solving thereby increasing their interest in pursuing more STEM opportunities and classes in the future. Robotics Club invites 4th and 5th grade students of all experience levels to learn about electronics, programming, and digital fabrication, and to implement their knowledge in various robotics builds. Be sure to check the calendar to see the next available session.

The After-School Intramural Sports Program for grades 1st-5th will continue here at King. Your son/daughter is welcome to join the program throughout the year for whatever session they would like. We do max out each session. The king calendar contains the dates and times of our next session. If you have any interest in volunteering for the program, please contact the school.

Are you a superb speller? Do you already have the school spelling bee on your calendar? When you read, are you soaking in all the new words?  If this describes you, then you won’t want to miss out on the Spelling Bee Club at King. This club will be highly challenging and geared for students who desire to be serious competitors in the spelling bee. Be sure to check the calendar to see the next available session.

In Yearbook Committee, we design, promote, and sell the King Yearbook. Assisted by teachers, students use an online computer program to create pages, and are also primarily responsible for taking the pictures that will end up in the yearbook.
